  12.            Smooth Editor is an ASCII-text editor with accelerated smooth
  13.            scrolling. You'll never see another editor look this good. It also
  14.            has:
  15.            -XMS memory use, so virtually unlimited file lengths
  16.            -Multilevel Undo and Redo functions
  17.            -Multiple files
  18.            -Symbol table, so you can easily use other than standard characters
  19.            -All other functions you'd expect from a decent editor.

  33.            SE  [filename]
  34.            Without filename, Smooth Editor will present the File Open Window.
  35.            Filename can contain wildcards, SE will open all matching files.

  40.            To see the demo, make sure the SE.INI is not in the path or in the
  41.            program directory. If it is you can just delete it, since SE will
  42.            create a new one with all the default values.
  43.            When you now start SE, it will ask you whether you want to see the
  44.            demo.

  55.            Smooth Editor remains the property of the author. This software
  56.            may not be changed in any way.

  59.        SHAREWARE:

  61.            Smooth Editor is released as Shareware. After a thirty day trial
  62.            period, you must register Smooth Editor or discontinue using it.
  63.            If you register Smooth Editor you will receive a registration code.
  64.            With this code you can convert Smooth Editor to a registered copy,
  65.            removing the shareware nag (the swinging text when you close SE).
  66.            One registered copy of Smooth Editor may be used by a single person
  67.            on one or more computers (this does not apply to site licenses).
  68.            You will also receive a 3.5" disk with the latest version of Smooth
  69.            editor.

  74.            Provided that you verify that you are distributing the unregistered
  75.            version (select About in the Help menu to check) you are hereby
  76.            licensed to make as many copies of the shareware version of this
  77.            software and documentation as you wish and provide them to anyone.

  236.            Site license fees are based on the number of computers at the site 
  237.            to be licensed. For example, if you would like to use Smooth Editor 
  238.            on any machine within a department, division, building or group of 
  239.            buildings, then the fee would be based on the total number of PC's 
  240.            within that department, division, building or group of buildings. 
  241.            This assumes that the site wholly belongs to the person or company 
  242.            requesting the license. Corporate-wide licenses are also available 
  243.            and are based upon the total number of PC's owned by the corporation
  244.            or government agency.

  246.            The prices for Site Licenses are:

  248.            1-10 computers: $80 US
  249.            More than 8 computers: $8 US per computer.

  251.            For this price you will receive only one copy of the program, with a
  252.            registration code for the whole site.
