  3.        This file contains release notes for SafeGard v1.1 on
  4.     changes made after the manual was printed.
  5.  
  6.        Users experiencing snow problems on CGA monitors should
  7.     start SafeGard once using the undocumented /cga command line
  8.     parameter to correct the problem.  You will notice a
  9.     reduction in screen refresh rates as a result of this
  10.     operation.

  12.     Note: /ega removes the effects of /cga

  14.     Performance Improvements
  15.     -------------------------
  16.     Performance Improvements may be obtained by configuring 
  17.     your system with a RAMDRIVE and the changing the TEMP 
  18.     file path to point to the RAMDRIVE within the <OPTIONS>
  19.     <SETUP> dialog.

  22.     Files created by SafeGard
  23.     -------------------------
  24.     - With every list you create SafeGard creates a hidden 
  25.       subdirectory off of your safegard directory to hold the
  26.       list information.

  28.     - To view these directories be sure that <View><Options>
  29.       <System_Files> is selected. 
  30.  
  31.     - Within this directory there are 5 index files which must
  32.       not be modified by the user.
