This large lance head found near Trois-RiviÅres was manufactured from stone which originated in northern Labrador and was traded to the south.

C. Projectile points.
These small points are typical of the period around 4,000 years ago.
D. Projectile points.
These three points illustrate changing styles with the earlier form appearing at the bottom.
E. Stone plummet.
On the coast these objects may have functioned as squid lures since they bear a striking resemblance to historically documented squid lures. Such conjectures, however, can rarely be proven by archaeology and are only offered as a probability.
F. Polished slate rod.
It has been suggested these objects functioned as whetstones.
G. Polished slate semi-lunar knife.
H. Notched stone flake knife.
