A. Fragments from the rims of pottery vessels typical of two completely independent pottery traditions, one whose roots were in Southern Ontario (the two specimens to the left) and the other from the west in Northern Ontario (the two specimens to the right).
B. Scrapers.
C. Large flaked stone tool probably used in hide preparation.
D. Arrowhead varieties. The specimen to the far left was manufactured from a piece of a European brass kettle.
E. An unusually fine soapstone smoking pipe.
F. Fragment of a thirteenth century pottery vessel. Such items indicate a significant relationship with the contemporaneous cultural developments in southern Ontario which historically resulted in the Ontario Iroquoians and, in particular, the Huron and the Tionnantate.
G. Specialized stone tool possibly used in gouging out the lashing holes in the wooden frames of snowshoes and canoes.
