There was much sympathy in Canada for the victims of Nazi aggression. An especially popular cause was the provision of aid to British civilians whose homes had been destroyed by German bombers. After the devastating air raids of March and April 1941, this mobile kitchen provided food for the citizens of Plymouth, England. Donated to the city by the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities, it is parked here in front of the ruins of St. Andrews church.
