The Evolution of the Political Divisions of Canada since 1867.
From the North-Western Territory the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta would be carved and additions made to Ontario and Ouebec. In 1912, the last major alterations in boundaries were made, and the provinces and territories assumed their present shape.
