This photograph now hangs in the New Credit Council House. Other Ojibwa have distinguished themselves in the past century. From New Credit, for example, Malcolm King recently obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from McGill University. John Wesley Beaver, a Mississauga from the Alderville (Alnwick) reserve, seventy-five miles east of Toronto, is now president and chief executive officer of the Churchill Falls Corporation in Labrador, a company which produces almost twenty percent of Canada's electricity from the world's largest underground power station (see the biography of him in Weekend Magazine, February 1, 1975, entitled "Power to the People"). For sketches of three other distinguished Canadian Indians consult Famous Indians: Brant, Crowfoot, Oronhyatekha (Toronto: Clarke, Irwin, 1960 - reprinted 1970) by Ethel Brant Monture, a Mississauga from the New Credit Reserve.
