When they first moved to the Credit in 1826 the Indians lived in wigwams. Once their log cabins had been built, they moved in, two families sharing each one. How did living in a log cabin differ from their wigwams? What adjustments would the native families have to make? In what other areas were the Indian people required to alter their old ways? Would they find the transition from a hunting and a fishing society to an agricultural one difficult?
