A group of placard-waving strikers proclaim their confidence in the CCCL and its leaders, Picard and Marchand. Various placards reply to the attacks by the premier and his labour minister: "Nous sommes confiants en nos chefs" (We have confidence in our leaders), "L`Eglise nous appuie, la politique nous trahit" (The Church supports us, politicians betray us) and "La poignÄe qui dÄclara la grÅve nous la sommes" (We are the handful that started the strike).
