One of the requests of the "Four Kings" was for Anglican missionaries to counteract French Jesuit influences. Queen Anne supported this and supplied to "Her Majesty's Chapel among the Mohawks" a set of communion silver. By the time of the American Revolution the Mohawks were as a nation converted to the Church of England. When they moved to Canada after the war, the communion silver was divided between two Mohawk settlements, Deseronto and the Grand River.
