  3.      Cupboard with two panelled doors, each decorated with two panels after the Louis XV style with leafy vine branch coming from a stylized vase carved in high-relief on the door frame. This kind of decoration is often associated in France with marriage, and suggests fertility. It is likely that the tradition carried over to the New World.
