  3.      Entertainers, war heroes, athletes and politicians lent their fame and talents to the campaign to sell war bonds. Here, famous American child actress Shirley Temple and Prime Minister Mackenzie King open the Seventh Victory Loan Drive in front of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa on 21 October 1944.
