This lithograph, derived from a drawing by E.S. Glover, was published in Cincinnati by Strobridge & Company. London's population at the time was officially 16,709. In this view of the city, looking northeast, note Lake Horne (in the left centre) where the Canadian Pacific tracks presently run. The old site of the fair grounds can be seen to the right of the lake and the military barracks, on the present site of Victoria Park, again to the right. The Court House rises to the right of the Forks of the Thames.
