  7. BootWriter    A bootblock installer with many features.  You can install
  8.         either an official bootblock, an inbuilt one with the
  9.         possibility to enter some text, or any other bootblock of
  10.         your choice.  Bootblocks can be saved and loaded as either
  11.         normal or powerpacked files.  Bootblock files and disks'
  12.         bootblocks are checked for viruses using the recognition
  13.         code of VirusZ, and, if available, the bootblock.library
  14.         and brainfile (BBBF).  There are about 550 different
  15.         bootblocks recognized.  All filing systems are supported.
  16.         This package also contains the assembler includes for the
  17.         Bootblock.library which were missing on AmigaLibDisk919.

  21. SCSIUtil    CLI utility to issue commands to a SCSI disk using a
  22.         specific SCSI id number.  Commands include inquiry, seek,
  23.         start/stop motor, read sector(s), play audio CD sectors,
  24.         insert, eject, read capacity, etc.  This is version 2.02,
  25.         an update to version 1.815 on disk 889.  Includes source
  26.         in C.

  29. Stocks        Demo version of a stocks analysis program.  Provides power-
  30.         ful technical analysis using numerous studies including
  31.         Candlesticks, traditional bar charts, 3 moving averages,
  32.         MACD, Stochastics, Gann, TrendLines,%R, Average Volume and
  33.         more.  It generates buy/sell signals based on customizable
  34.         trading rules and graphs daily, weekly, and monthly charts
  35.         using a simple ASCII data file format compatable with
  36.         CompuServe historical data.  Displays on Workbench or
  37.         Custom Public Screen.  Includes on-line AmigaGuide help
  38.         text.  Version 3.04a, an update to version 3.02a on disk

  49.         the phosphor even when the CPU is really busy).  Based
  50.         loosely upon Jeff Buterworth's "xswarm" for X11 Windowing
  51.         System, it shows from 1-10 "wasps" being chased by 1-500
  52.         "bees".  Screen will blank entirely under periods of high
  53.         CPU usage.  Requires Amiga OS 2.04 and MUI 1.4 or later.
  54.         This is version 2.0, an update to version 1.3 on disk 798.

  58. CopColEd    An editor for colors that can be displayed using the Amiga's
  59.         COPPER.  This program was made for PROGRAMMERS.  This is
  60.         version 1.2, binary only.

  63. Iconian        An icon editor that supports OS 3.x functions, AGA display
  64.         modes such as palette sharing, and 256 colors.  Iconian
  65.         should do everything IconEdit can, and more.  IFF brushes
  66.         are remapped to the current Workbench screen colors, using
  67.         the new palette sharing functions under KickStart 3.x.  All
  68.         common drawing tools are present, including bevel boxes.

  79. PrtSc        Have you ever noticed that there is a PrtSc key on the
  80.         numeric keypad?  This program makes it work! By pressing
  81.         the PrtSc key on your keypad, you get a screen dump to your
  82.         printer.  Now includes a GadTools interface for better looks
  83.         and the ability to dump the screen to a file instead of 
  84.         the printer if desired.  Version 1.75, an update to version
  85.         1.52 on disk number 945.  Freeware, includes source in 
  86.         assembler.

  89. SmartCache    A small (about 3K) 100% assembly language program that
  90.         patches itself into the 'trackdisk.device' to provide a
  91.         whole cylinder 'Caching' mechanism for all the floppy disk
  92.         drives (including the new HD floppy drives) that you have
  93.         connected to your Amiga.  This program has been designed
  94.         to boost the floppy performance by using your excess memory
  95.         in a shared cache scheme.  This program is a must for
  96.         floppy based systems, that have the free memory!  Tested
  97.         under 1.3 through 2.1.  Version 1.77a, binary only.

  106. Csh        Replacement for the Amiga shell, similar to UN*X csh.  Main
  107.         features include over 100 built in commands, 70 functions,
  108.         new system variables, file name completion, freely program-
  109.         mable command line editing, file classes, auto cd, lazy cd,
  110.         intuition menus for the shell window, automatic RX-ing,
  111.         local variables, $( ), statement blocks, high speed, plus
  112.         much more.  This is version 5.37, an update to version 5.31

  116. CyberPager    Allows one to send alpha-numeric (i.e., full text) messages
  117.         to a pager from an Amiga.  This is accomplished by dialing
  118.         into an IXO protocol compliant pager central and uploading
  119.         messages.  Features include Alias file for commonly paged
  120.         people to be referred to by name rather than cryptic PIN
  121.         numbers, "Groups" file allowing messages to be easily sent
  122.         to many people working on the same project, in the same
  123.         department, etc, supports multiple pager centrals through
  124.         a services configuration file, full logging of messages
  125.         spooled, dialout attempts, etc.  Includes sample rexx
  126.         scripts to generate automatic messages, page the current
  127.         person on duty, etc.  This is version 1.4, an update to
  128.         version 1.2 on disk 907, and incorporates a couple bug
  129.         fixes.  It also provides support for services which require
  130.         a real password at login time.  This support will require

  140. Wbsm        Activates or deactivates programs that are run from the
  141.         WBStartup drawer.  When run from the user-startup script
  142.         holding down the LEFTMOUSEBUTTON during boot up will popup
  143.         the Workbench Startup Manager GUI.  Since the user-startup
  144.         script is executed before the programs in the WBStartup
  145.         drawer are run, your selection will be valid in that very

  163. IRMaster    Software/hardware project to control devices with an infra-
  164.         red remote control (tv set, cd player etc.) with an amiga.

  177.         downloaded by your Fidonet communications software.  This

  212.         ToolType will read the tooltypes from an icon file and
  213.         let you use your favorite text editor to change or add

  216.         to sort the tooltypes alphabetically.  Version 37.210,

  228.         conveniently move, copy, rename, and delete files &
  229.         directories using the mouse.  Also provides a method to

  231.         clicking them or by selecting them from a ParM like Menu
  232.         with lots of arguments.  Uses whatis.library to detect
  233.         file types and executes commands based on these.  Version

  238. ParM        Parametrable Menu.  ParM allows you to build menus to run

  242.         or to the WB menus.  It has a builtin mouse accelerator,
  243.         screen blanker, etc.  Available languages: english, french,
  244.         deutsch, italiano, norsk, svenska, dansk.  Version 4.5, an

  248. WhatIs        WhatIs.library can detect file types and is fully parame-
  249.         trable by an ascii file.  You can describe file types and
  250.         they will be recognized by the library.  Includes a few

  252.         is version 4.0, an update to version 3.4 on disk number

  283.         is version 1.10, freeware, includes source.

  312. MTool        MultiTool II is a directory utility resembling DMaster V1.4
  313.         (cosmetically only).  It offers all basic functions (copy,
  314.         delete,...), special features can be configured using
  315.         external programs.  LH-Archives can be double clicked like
  316.         directories causing MTool to display the archive contents
  317.         in the directory list.  Now you can copy files into the
  318.         archive (add), out of the archive (extract) or delete them.
  319.         MTool supports different screenmodes, localization, fonts,
  320.         it opens an appwindow and works as a commodity.  Everything
  321.         is set up with a very user friendly prefs editor.  MTool
  322.         needs OS2.0 (or higher).  Version 2.0a, shareware, binary

  332.         gram that will run on any Amiga with WB1.3 or subsequent.
  333.         Search or sort on any field, print mailing labels, delete
  334.         or undelete records, mail merge, get reports in many for-
  335.         mats, scramble files, flag records, and more.  Fields are
  336.         user-configurable, so bBase can be used to keep track of
  337.         addresses, tape or video collections, recipe files, or any-
  338.         thing else you can think of - one program does it all!
  339.         bBaseIII is a greatly enhanced successor to bBaseII.  This
  340.         is version 1.43, an update to version 1.4 on disk 923.

  344. ScreenSelect    A commodity to change screen order by selecting a screen
  345.         name from a listview.  Also allows binding of hotkeys to

  348.         to new screen, is configurable with Preferences program,
  349.         has a full intuition interface and is font sensitive
  350.         (including proportional fonts).  Documentation in Amiga-
  351.         Guide, ASCII and DVI formats.  Requires AmigaOS 2.04 or

  356. TeXPrt        A front-end for DVI printer drivers based on Stefan Stuntz's
  357.         MUI.  It is highly configurable and can be used with various
  358.         DVI printer drivers.  Configuration files for Georg Hess-
  359.         mann's DVIPrint (PasTeX), DVILJP (AmigaTeX) and DVILJ2P
  360.         (Gustaf Neumann) are included.  TeXPrt has an ARexx port
  361.         and interprets 17 ARexx commands.  TeXPrt opens an App-
  362.         Window and supports an (optional) AppIcon for selecting DVI
  363.         files.  Needs at least Kickstart 2.04 and MUI.  This is
  364.         version 3.0, an update to version 2.0 on disk 892.  Free-

  368. Touch        A simple TOUCH command, known from UNIX systems.  It will
  369.         touch all files (including patterns) given on the command
  370.         line.  If a particular file (not including wildcards) does
  371.         not exist, it will be created; just like under Unix.  This

  382.         up to some thousand digits before and after the decimal
  383.         point.  This is version number 3.  The (German) source code
  384.         in assembly language is included.

  387. ASplit        Splits binary/text files into smaller units, to be trans-
  388.         fered to removable storage units.  It looks like 'split'
  389.         under Unix., but this version allows you to specify the
  390.         size in bytes (instead of lines).  Version 2.0, shareware.
  391.         Includes Source in ANSI C, so it can be compiled on any
  392.         machine.

  395. DBB        Digital Breadboard is a full GUI digital circuit simulator.
  396.         Digital Breadboard currently supports 2 and 3 input AND,
  397.         OR, NAND, and NOR gates, NOT and XOR gates, D, JK, and SR
  398.         edge-triggered flip-flops, multiple independant clocks,
  399.         switched and pulsed inputs, outputs, Vcc, GND, independant
  400.         4-channel trace scope, event counters, variable speed
  401.         timer, preferences printing, and more.  Includes combina-
  402.         tional logic design utilities.  Version 1.1.9, an update

  406. HQMM        Hero Quest MapMaker.  With HQMM, you can create your own
  407.         missions for Hero Quest, the board game.  You can place
  408.         all objects that are in the Hero Quest set (doors, traps,
  409.         furniture, monsters etc.) on the map and you can write
  410.         your own story to go with it.  All this will be printed
  411.         out in the same style as the original Hero Quest missions.
  412.         Version 1.14, an update to version 1.11 on disk number 
  413.         959.  Requires OS2.0+, binary only, freeware.

  416. QuadraComp    A music tracker which uses the internal Amiga sound
  417.         capabilities.  Features: Uses standard intuition windows;
  418.         Handles the Protracker and Extended Module (EMOD) formats;
  419.         Built-in synth in the sample editor; More and longer samples
  420.         can be used than in normal trackers; Amusing realtime sample
  421.         displays.  Version 2.03, an update to version 2.0 on disk
  422.         number 930.  Binary only, shareware.  Package also includes
  423.         QuadraPlayer, a relatively small, freeware module player,
  424.         that handles both Protracker modules and Extended Modules
  425.         (EMOD's).  The music is shown visually in the Monoscope,
