  7. Icons        A large variety of icons for many uses, of practically

  11. MemMometer    A program that opens a narrow window and graphically
  12.         displays your memory usage like a gauge.  Based on
  13.         WFrags, by Tomas Rokicki.  Version 2.10, includes source.

  16. Stitchery    This shareware program loads in IFF images and creates
  17.         charted patterns from them for use in counted cross-stitch
  18.         and other forms of needlework.  It requires one megabyte of
  19.         memory to run, and works best with a good high-resolution
  20.         printer for printing the patterns.  The Stitchery was
  21.         written with The Director and the Projector is included.

  25. TrackUtils    Two utilities that deal with disk tracks.  TCopy copies one
  26.         or more tracks from one disk to another, and is useful for
  27.         copying part of a floppy disk into RAD: during bootup.
  28.         TFile creates a dummy file which "marks" a specified range
  29.         of tracks, preventing AmigaDOS from using them and allowing
  30.         them to be used for raw trackdisk data.  Includes C source.

  39. PDC        Publicly Distributable C (PDC) is a complete C compilation
  40.         system including a compiler, assembler, linker, librarian,
  41.         and numerous utilities, documentation files, libraries, and
  42.         header files.  PDC supports many ANSI features including
  43.         all ANSI preprocessor directives, function prototyping,
  44.         structure passing and assignment.  In addition it supports
  45.         Lattice C compatible libcall pragmas, precompiled header
  46.         files, builtin functions, and stack checking code. This is
  47.         version 3.33 and includes full source.

  68. TreeWalk    File tree walking subroutine designed to be fast, robust,
  69.         and not use a lot of any critical resource. Includes both
  70.         a CLI interface to that routine the form of a find-like
  71.         utility that uses C expressions instead of Unix-like flags,
  72.         and a program to tell you if directory trees will fit
  73.         on a given disk, or how many extra blocks you'll need if
  74.         they won't. Includes source. Update to version on disk 289.

  96.         Amiga based on the Sozobon Ltd C compiler, Charlie Gibb's

  100.         version 1.1, an update to version 1.0 on disk 340.

  115.         that also supports hotkey program execution. You can
  116.         map up to eight functions to each key, including keys
  117.         such as cursor keys, the return key, etc.  Version 1.4,
  118.         an update to version 1.0 on disk 325, which fixes the
  119.         bugs in version 1.0.  Includes source in 'C'.

  123.         A program that renders three-dimensional images of
  124.         blowups of the Mandelbrot set.  Includes several example
  125.         images.  This is version 2.0, an update to version 1.1

  129. MemGuard    MemGuard is a MemWatch like program which has been
  130.         rewritten in assembly language for maximum speed and
  131.         efficiency.  Unlike MemWatch, MemGuard does not run as
  132.         task in a dummy loop but rather as a low-level interrupt
  133.         routine which is capable of trapping memory trashing
  134.         even before exec might know of it and even while task
  135.         switching is forbidden.  Version IIIa, an update to
  136.         version III on disk 325, binary only.

  139. MXMLib        An example Amiga shared library compiled with Aztec
  140.         'C' 5.0.  This library contains basic support functions
  141.         employed by programs such as KeyMacro or PrintHandler.

  152. Berserker    A viruskiller which checks for certain conditions
  153.         indicating possible virus infection.  Different from
  154.         other programs of this kind, Berserker does not rely
  155.         on checksums only, it will also check the possible
  156.         virus behind the altered checksum.  Therefore even new
  157.         viruses with old infection methods can be traced and
  158.         resident tools are not touched.  Includes source in
  159.         assembly language.

  162. ImageEditor    A simple to use graphics editor which allows you to draw
  163.         and save images/sprites as assembler or C source code.
  164.         Includes IFF support, undo, and an iconify function.
  165.         Another feature is the small memory usage so you can use
  166.         multitasking even on a 512K machine.  Maximum picture size
  167.         is 166*58 pixels.  This is version 2.4 and includes source.

  170. LoadImage    An IFF ILBM reader that accepts overscanned pictures,
  171.         allows you to scroll around in the bitmap if the
  172.         picture is larger than the current display, works on

  175.         portions.  Version 1.11, update to version 1.9 on disk
  176.         281, includes source.

  179. RexxHostLib    This is a shared library package to simplify the ARexx
  180.         host creation/management procedure.  Rexx-message
  181.         parsing is also included making it possible to control
  182.         ARexx from programs such as AmigaBASIC (can you
  183.         imagine AmigaBASIC controlling AmigaTeX?).  This is
  184.         version 34.12 which has been recompiled and made a lot
  185.         shorter using Aztec 'C' 5.0, an update to version 1.6
  186.         on disk 325.  Includes source.

  189. SoundEditor    An 8SVX stereo sound file editor written in assembly
  190.         language for speed and minimum size.  Version V.8,

  194. TrackSalve    A Trackdisk patch which removes all known bugs, and one
  195.         unknown so far, and patches the Trackdisk task to allow
  196.         various enhancements, such as reading good sectors from

  198.         simulation, auto motor off, auto update and turning off
  199.         clicking.  Other features are MFM-upate and I/O by non-
  200.         chip buffers. This is version 1.3, an update of version
  201.         1.0 on disk 312.  Includes source in C and assembler.

  204. Tron        Another game about the lightcycle race sequence in the 
  205.         science fiction computer film "Tron".  One or two players

  218.         MIDI interface and synthesizer are needed.  The music 
  219.         does not have a strong pulse, and does not repeat motifs 
  220.         or melodies, but can be very pretty.  Version 1.0 with
  221.         source in C, and sample data files.

  224. NComm        A communications program based on Comm version 1.34, by
  225.         DJ James, with lots of very nice enhancements.  Also

  228.         version 1.9, an update to version 1.8 on disk 230.

  239.         war, etc, which can last a couple of months.  Can be
  240.         played either on the local keyboard or remotely through

  242.         1.33w on disk 329.  Changes include a client-server
  243.         system, a chat/CB mode, realtime private player to
  244.         player messages, and other enhancements.  Binary only.

  253. Blob        Another screen hack.  Makes red drops of slime flow down
  254.         your screen.  Version 1.1, includes source in C.

  257. OPS5c        OPS5c is a compiler for the expert system language OPS5.
  258.         The compiler takes OPS5 source code as input and creates a C
  259.         source code file to be compiled to create an executable.
  260.         Arbitrary C code may be linked with the executable and
  261.         executed as a result of firing rules.  The system's strong
  262.         point is its speed and as a result it sometimes has large
  263.         executables and large memory requirements.  At least 1 Meg.
  264.         of memory is suggested.  Binaries only for compiler and
  265.         run-time library.  Version 1.08a.  Requires a C compiler.

  268. Pipeline        A game like the commercial game 'Pipe dream' (Pipe mania).
  269.                 Needs a joystick and PAL display.  High scores are saved
  270.         to disk.  Version 1.0, includes source.

  273. ReDate        Scans a disk and dates each directory according to the most
  274.         recent item contained within (not including .info files).
  275.         Ideal for use after a COPY ALL CLONE, where the directories
  276.         are CREATED rather than copied and thus lose their date
  277.         information.  Includes source in assembler.

  280. RoadRoute    Revision of trip planner program to find "best road route"
  281.         between any two points of travel.  The user is encouraged
  282.         to customize files CITIES and ROADS to suit travel interests.
  283.         This is version 1.5, an update to the original version on
  284.         disk 251, and makes provision for very large city menus and
  285.         itineraries.  You might like to use files from disk 328
  286.         (Mayes/Delzer).  Also includes RoadScan, a checker for
  287.         RoadRoute files (CITIES and ROADS).  Very large files may
  288.         contain goofs (cities with no roads, the same road entered
  289.         twice, etc.), or oddities (direct road not as fast as multi-
  290.         point).  These are pointed out, together with areas where
  291.         users might wish to make economies in the data base.
  292.         Includes source in C.

  295. ScanIFF        Scans through an IFF file, identifying the elements.
  296.         Faster than standard utility IFFCheck since it uses Seek,
  297.         but does not do IFFCheck's detailed format checking.
  298.         Intended for use as a "template" from which programmers
  299.         can code their specific application.  For example, an
  300.         expanded version has been used to extract instrument data
  301.         from music files.  Includes source in assembler.

  305.         directory.  For directories, shows SIZE.  For files, takes
  306.         a quick look and identifies TYPE if possible.  Update to

  308.         pattern matching, and has a small style change.  Includes
  309.         source in assembler.

  329. DICE        Dillon's Integrated C Enviroment.  A C frontend, pre-
  330.         processor, C compiler, assembler, linker, and support
  331.         libraries.  Also includes the editor, dme.  Features
  332.         include ANSI compatibility, many code optimizations,
  333.         and autoinit routines (user routines called during
  334.         startup before main is called).  This is version 2.02,
  335.         shareware, binary only.
