  7. CrossDOS    A "tryware" version of a mountable MS-DOS file system
  8.         for the Amiga.  This is a software product that allows
  9.         you to read and write MS-DOS/PC-DOS and Atari ST
  10.         formatted disks (Version 2.0 or higher) directly from
  11.         AmigaDOS.  This tryware version is a "readonly" version,
  12.         which does not allow any writes to the disk.  A fully
  13.         functional version is available for a very reasonable
  14.         price from CONSULTRON.  Version 3.02, binary only.

  17. Dis        An AmigaDOS shareable library which implements a symbolic
  18.         single-instruction disassembler for the MC68000 family and
  19.         a program which uses the library to disassemble/dump

  21.         relocation information.  Includes source code in Draco.

  24. DM-Maps        IFF maps to the Dungeon Master game.  All 14 levels are

  28. MemLib        A link library of routines to aid in debugging memory
  29.         problems.  Works with Lattice C 5.0 and possibly with
  30.         earlier versions.  It's features include trashing all
  31.         allocated memory, trashing all freed memory, keeping
  32.         track of freed memory with notification if it is 
  33.         written to, notification of memory freed twice or
  34.         not at all, notification of overrunning or underrunning
  35.         allocated memory, generation of low memory conditions
  36.         for testing purposes, and identification of violations
  37.         of memory use by filename and line number of the
  38.         allocating routine.  Includes source.

  41. RunBack        This is version 6, an update to the version on disk 152
  42.         (the version on disk 214 appears to be on a different
  43.         evolutionary path).  This version compiles under Lattice

  48. XprLib        External file transfer protocol library.  Document and
  49.         code example for implementing external file transfer

  61. ASDG-rrd    Extremely useful shareware recoverable ram disk.  This
  62.         AmigaDOS device driver implements a completely DOS
  63.         compatible disk device in memory that survives resets,
  64.         guru's, and crashes.  An absolute must for those with
  65.         lots of ram.  This is an update to the version released
  66.         on disk 58.  It now works with up to 8Mb of memory.  It
  67.         was rewritten in assembly and is now faster and much
  68.         smaller.  Binary only.

  70.  
  71. CBBS        The W0RLI BBS system for use in amateur radio.  Originally
  72.         written for IBM-PC compatibles, it was ported to the Amiga
  73.         by Pete Hardie.  This is version 6.1c with source code.

  76. Fix68010    A program which patches executables that fail to run
  77.         on machines equipped with an M68010, so that they no
  78.         longer use the prohibited priviledged instructions.

  82. Man        A program similar to the UNIX "man" program.  Displays
  83.         information about a topic from manual pages.  Does not
  84.         include any database of topics, you have to supply your

  88. NoClick        A program which silences the clicking of empty drives
  89.         on the B2000 under AmigaDOS 1.3.  It should also work
  90.         on an A500.  This is version 3.4, an update to the

  94. Tiles        A basic tile game like Shanghai or GunShy.  A board is
  95.         covered with a set of 144 tiles, 36 different sets of
  96.         4 identical tiles, each with a picture on it.  The
  97.         object is to remove all the tiles, 2 at a time, by
  98.         matching identical tiles.  Version 2.1, includes source
  99.         in Modula II.

  141. Image-Ed    An icon editor that allows you to draw and edit images up to
  142.         150 by 90, in up to 16 colors.  Allows freehand drawing,

  145.         stretching and condensing, flood fill and complement,
  146.         text with selection and loading of font style, undo,
  147.         magnified and normal sized images, and two active drawing
  148.         screens at once.  This is version 2.2, an update to version

  152. JAR        A shareware game (Jump And Run) using 3-D graphics.  Your
  153.         task is to collect the blue pills lying on the floors and

  156.         sorts of weapons to use against the monsters.  Version 1.0,

  191. FragIt        A dynamic memory thrasher for the Amiga.  FragIt randomly
  192.         allocates and deallocates psuedo-random size values of
  193.         memory, ranging from 16 bytes to 50000 bytes by default.
  194.         The result is an allocation nightmare, thousands of memory
  195.         fragments are being created and destroyed continuously.
  196.         This puts stress on the memory allocation routines of an
  197.         application undergoing testing by simulating a very busy,
  198.         highly fragmented memory environment. This is version 2.0,
  199.         featuring many bug fixes, a full intuition interface,
  200.         configuration settings via the icon, and more.  Includes

  212. LPE        LaTeX Picture Editor is a graphical editor for producing
  213.         "pictures" for the LaTeX system, which may be imported by
  214.         LaTeX.  You can draw boxes, dashed boxes, lines, vectors,

  216.         is version 1.0, binary only.

  232. Pcopy        An intuition based disk copier similiar to the resident
  233.         "DiskCopy".  This is version 2.0, a highly upgraded
  234.         rewrite of the version on disk 151.  It features high speed
  235.         diskcopy with write-verify and data recovery from damaged
  236.         tracks.  A lot of effort has gone into making this copier
  237.         friendly in its usage, as well in its multitasking
  238.         properties.  Binary only.

  241. SimGen        This program will add a 2 or 4 color picture to your
  242.         WorkBench screen.  If the picture is digitized, it will
  243.         look much like a genlock, hence the name SimGen (Simulated

  247. SuperLines    A new lines demo with a realtime control panel that you
  248.         can use to change various aspects of the action.  Has 10

  255. WarpUtil    Warp (version 1.11), UnWarp (version 1.0), and WarpSplit
  256.         (version 1.1).  Warp reads raw filesystems and archives
  257.         them into a compressed version in a normal file.  UnWarp
  258.         turns them back into filesystems.  WarpSplit splits them
  259.         up into smaller pieces on a track by track basis.

  287. SizeChecker    Size checker uses a list of possible sizes of a file to
  288.         check for unexpected changes in the size of those files.
  289.         For example, it can be used to spot a link virus or to
  290.         point out changes in the configuration of your system.

  292.         you can check to see what version of the files you are
  293.         using (1.2, 1.3, 1.4, ARP, etc).  Version 1.0, binary only.

  297.         half the size and handles all screen formats (pal/ntsc,

  302. XColor        A program designed to change the colors of any screen.
  303.         You can also add and subtract bitplanes in the screen,

  321.         booting.  This is the "next generation" BootIntro, a
  322.         more colorful version than the one on disk 244, but
  323.         the text must be shorter.  The first line can be up to
  324.         24 characters.  The second and third lines can be up to
  325.         22 characters.  The scrolling text can be up to 98
  326.         characters.  This is "next generation version 1.1".

  331.         program, to close them, change their size, refresh gadgets,

  417. AssemTools    A collection of files which should be of great interest
  418.         to Amiga assembly language programmers.  The collection
  419.         includes 140 macro routines which make assembly language

  422.         functions (fopen, fclose, fgets, fputs, etc) and a file
  423.         name requester.  All routines are re-entrant.  Includes

  428. RemoteLogin    A couple of programs which make possible remote access to
  429.         your Amiga.  One program checks the serial port for an

  452.         create a simple, interactive method of outlining the
  453.         task required to complete a particular project, using
  454.         the GANTT chart as the input format.  AmiGantt displays
  455.         the project in a multi-window mode with separate windows
  456.         for the GANTT chart, task information input, resource
  457.         histogram display, and Pert chart display.  Up to 500
  458.         tasks may be defined for any project, and a project may
  459.         contain other projects as tasks.  Version 3.0.0, shareware,

  483. Regex        An Amiga shared library version of the GNU regular
  484.         expression package from the Free Software Foundation.
  485.         A regular expression is a concise method of describing
  486.         a pattern of characters in a string. By use of special
  487.         wildcards, almost any pattern can be described. A regular
  488.         expression pattern can be used for searching strings in
  489.         such programs as editors or other string handling programs.

  500.         dimensional cellular automation, Crud is a automation
  501.         based on a sum index rule, Demon is a cyclic space
  502.         automation described in the Aug 89 Scientific American,
  503.         and Life is one of the oldest and best known of all
  504.         cellular automata.  Includes source.

  507. Slicer        Slicer computes and displays images of the Mandelbrot
  508.         and Julia sets.  Unlike many Mandelbrot programs that
  509.         generate pictures directly, Slicer computes and stores
  510.         an array of raw data which it may then render into
  511.         pictures in a number of ways.  Version 1.0, binary only.

  514. TurMite        A two dimensional turing machine simulator.  Imagine a
  515.         small bug crawling around on your computer display moving
  516.         one pixel at a time. At each step it uses its internal
  517.         state number and the color of the pixel it's on as indexes
  518.         into a set of tables to decide what color to change the
  519.         pixel to, what direction to move, and what its new internal
  520.         state should be.  Includes source.
