  58. dpslide        A slide show program for displaying graphic images
  59.         which are in the iff format, such as output from the
  60.         Electronic Arts Deluxe Paint program.  Allows the user
  61.         to select the display time for each slide and the method
  62.         of bringing the slide up to the screen, and then removing
  63.         it.  Double buffers images to improve smoothness of
  64.         display.

  73. This is disk 12 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  74. Note that this disk contains a number of programs apparently available
  75. only in executable form.  I am not real happy with this trend, but
  76. had no way of getting in contact with the authors who posted these
  77. programs to various BBS's to request source.  I have no reason to
  78. believe that any of these executable only postings contain any
  79. deliberate "misfeatures", but you should always use such programs
  80. cautiously.

  82. amiga3d        Shows a rotating 3 dimensional solid "Amiga sign".

  123. It is a grab bag of basic programs, mostly untested.  No speekee basic
  124. so if these don't work, call someone else.

  128. This is disk 14 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.

  130. This disk contains the first ever public release of two new pieces of
  131. code, "dex" and "termcap".  Also, this is the first disk in the library
  132. that includes executables produced with both the Manx and Lattice C
  133. compilers, whenever possible.  This greatly helps to isolate bugs.
  134.  
  135. amiga3d        Shows a rotating 3 dimensional solid "AMIGA" sign.
  136.         This is an updated version of the program released
  137.         on disk number 12, and now includes full source.

  187. This is disk 15 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.

  189. Whenever possible, both Lattice C and Manx C executables are provided.
  190. The Lattice executables have the extension ".lattice" and the Manx
  191. executables have the extension ".manx".  This greatly helps to isolate
  192. bugs.

  194. Blobs        A simple graphics program, reminiscent of the unix "worms" 
  195.         program, but in color of course.

  198. Clock        A simple digital clock program designed to be small and to

  247. This is a copy of a H.A.M. (Hold And Modify) graphics demo disk received
  248. from a vendor that is producing hardware to capture such images, and
  249. software to process them.  It is unchanged except for:

  251.     1)    The volume name has been changed to AmigaLibDisk17.
  252.     2)    This file (README.list17) has been added.
  253.     3)    The standard library README file README.dist
  254.         has been added.
  255.     4)    The 'showilbm' program has been added to allow viewing
  256.         of the two monochrome pictures (dozer.hires and robert.lores)
  257.         without requiring Deluxe Paint.
  258.     5)    The supplied 'readme' file has been augmented with
  259.         information received on hardcopy along with the disk, and

  271.         This is a modified AmigaTerm that can emulate a dumb
  272.         terminal (interesting paradox here somewhere...), translate
  273.         line termination sequences, optionally capture or discard
  274.         control characters in the captured file, use audible bell,
  275.         use another font, etc.

  316. JayMinerSlides    These are the Amiga slides produced/used by Jay Miner
  317.         (the designer of Amiga's custom graphics chips) in his
  318.         talks about the Amiga.  They are all hi-res (640 x 400)
  319.         and are best displayed on a long-persistence color
  320.         monitor.
  321.  
  322. Keymap_Test    A program to test the keymapping routines and find
  323.         possible bugs.  Useful as an example of keymapping.

  326. LockMon        Find file locks.  Useful for discovering if programs
