  4. handling of other programs.

  46. proceed using ShowDVI even when the CLI
  47. window is open.

  51. Opens a string requester for entering a
  52. CLI comand, that will be executed. For
  53. its IO a window will be opened on the
  54. ShowDVI-Screen, which can be closed by

  61. Executes the shell script of the name defined in the file
  62. 'ShowDVI.config'. Setting now is '%s'.
  63. If the environment variable TEXFORMATS is not set, ShowDVI
  64. will ask for a format file. (If this function is called by pressing
  65. the 'R' key, the format file will be asked every time.) The
  66. shell script is called with three comand line options
  67. (.key filename/a,directory/a,screenname/k): the name of the
  68. currently loaded TeX file, its directory and the name of the
  69. public screen (%s) on which the IO window will
  70. be opened. This window can be closed by using the close-button
  71. or typing CTRL-\.

  77. Invoces an ARexx script of the name defined in the file
  78. 'ShowDVI.config'. Setting now is '%s'.
  79. This script drives the comunication between the editor,
  80. TeX and ShowDVI.
  81. First one will be asked for the name of a public screen.
  82. Using the default '%s' an window on ShowDVIs screen
  83. will come up. Entering 'Workbench' will
  84. open a window on the Workbench screen. The name of the
  85. screen will be passed to the ARexx script as comand line
  86. parameter.

  88. This facility requires OS 2.0.
  89. The ARexx-Script can also be invoced in a CLI window
  90. on the workbench using OS 1.3.

  92. Asks for a format-file name and assigns the
  93. environment variable TEXFORMATS to it.
  94. This variable is evaluated by the 'r'
  95. comand, the ARexx scripts as well
  96. as by 'virtex'.

  100. Starts the program 'SpecialHost', that handles
  101. the \special TeX directive. Depending on the
  102. configuration of the program it will open
  103. a window on the ShowDVI screen or on the
  104. workbench.

  110. This selection prints the currently displayed
  111. page (of course a DVI-file must be loaded).

  118. The printing process will be indicated by a 'P'
  119. on the right handside of the titlebar. In that
  120. case the current page cannot be switched.

  189. will display the distance form the current
  190. mouse position to the place where the
  191. button was pressed.

  198. Toggles the dispaly of the 'border-line'.
  199. These lines mark the margins set up

  213. current page number. Using the mouse or
  214. the cursor or the usual pagination keys
  215. like RETURN, ENTER, + etc. one can select
  216. the desired page number. Selecting this
  217. menu item again, pressing the 's' key
  218. or pressing the 'no' Gadget will cancel
  219. this mode without leaving the current page.

  226. the unit in which any size will be
