  3. This is disk 70 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  4.  
  5. Note that many of the programs on this disk are shareware/freeware.
  6. This means that if you find them useful, you are morally obligated
  7. to send a small donation to the author to help support his efforts and
  8. fund further development.  I hope that by including them in this
  9. library I have furthered the author's goals of widest possible
  10. distribution and thus maximum return.  Also note (for those that
  11. like to split hairs) that I am distributing this disk as a "freebee".

  15. AmigaMonitor    Dynamically display the state of the machine, including
  16.         open files, active tasks, resources, device states, 
  17.         interrupts, libraries, ports, etc.  Display window into

  22. Arc        The ubiquitous compressing archiver program that
  23.         has become the de facto standard for distributing

  135. Rot        Program which generates and displays 3D objects.  Consists
  136.         of two pieces, an object editor and an action editor.
  137.         The object editor creates 3D objects and the action
  138.         editor defines up to 24 3D views of an object (which
  139.         can be quickly cycled to get an animation effect).

  152. It's been quite a while since the last disk with any pictures, so
  153. this one is just chock full of them.  There are HAM pictures, high
  154. resolution B&W digitized pictures, and some interesting freehand
  155. drawings.  Has a little of everything...

  159. This is disk 73 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.

  161. Add        Lets you create keyboard shortcuts for selection of menu

  202. Lit        Lit filters a file to stdout, showing all characters

  209. Lmv        This shareware program, submitted by the author, is
  210.         called "Long Movie".  It loads up to 100 IFF graphics

  217. MouseOff    Mouseoff will cause the mouse pointer to disappear and

  240. SnapShot    A small utility for dumping screens.  This one works
  241.         like POPCLI and stays dormant until you press Ctrl-Esc.

  246. TypeAndTell    Example program that demonstrates installation of
  247.         an input device handler before the Intuition one.
  248.         This example traps all keys typed by the user and
  249.         pronounces them in real time.  To quit press CNTL

  265.         Uses the arrow keys and simple control sequence keystrokes
  266.         for cursor positioning and editing tasks.  Version 1.3,
  267.         binary only.

  270. Control        Program which provides finer control over the printer
  271.         device.  When it sees a DUMPRPORT, it fires up a requestor
  272.         and lets you play with the values being passed in the

  276. Dme        Version 1.25 of Matt's text editor.  Dme is a simple WYSIWYG
  277.         editor designed for programmers.  It is not a WYSIWYG 
  278.         word processor in the traditional sense.  Features include
  279.         arbitrary key mapping, fast scrolling, title-line statistics
  280.         multiple windows, and ability to iconify windows.  Update
  281.         to version on disk number 59.  Binary only.

  284. DropShadow    A program that makes your WorkBench windows have
  285.         dropshadows.  Update to version on disk number 59, this
  286.         one has slider gadgets to adjust the 3-dimensional
  287.         distance between window planes and the shadow darkness.

  291. Funds        AmigaBASIC program to track the prices of mutual funds or
  292.         stocks.  Includes source.

  295. Less        Like Unix "more", only better, with forward and
  296.         backward scrolling, searching and positioning by
  297.         percent of file and line number, etc.  Very useful!
  298.         This is Amiga version 1.1, an update to the version
  299.         on disk number 34.  Includes source.

  302. Makemake    Reads C source files and constructs a vanilla makefile
  303.         in the current directory.  Includes source.

  306. mCAD        An object-oriented drawing program, version 1.2.4.
  307.         Uses a small set of graphics primitives (like "line",
  308.         "box", and "text") and a small set of editing functions
  309.         (like "move", "size", and "rotate").  While drawing and
  310.         editing, the user can call on other functions to modify
  311.         the display; to zoom in, slide around, superimpose a grid,
  312.         etc.  Update to version on disk number 59.

  366. Eless        A faster directory lister, that also sorts entries

  447.         cycle game in the movie "Tron".  Version 1.0, binary only.

  450. EOMS        Experts Only Mercenary Simulator.  A neat (and tough!)
  451.         PD game that was originally developed for eventual
  452.         commercial release but for various reasons the author
  453.         decided to release as PD instead.  So far my son has
  454.         beat every other Amiga game I've got, both PD and
  455.         commercial, but he gave up on this one.  For serious
  456.         game players.  Binary only.

  459. MandelVroom    A new Mandelbrot picture generator with some neat
  460.         features, including use of contour map making techniques
