  11. Dir Menu is a pop up based file selector. You simply  press  a  hotkey
  12. and a menu will pop up on current screen, showing all disk volumes you
  13. have. Then select a volume, and it's root directory will appear.  Then
  14. select  any file on your directory, and Dir Menu will execute selected
  15. file according to its type
  16.  
  17. With Dir Menu you can instantly and quickly browse throught  directory
  18. trees on your disk drives, easily take a look at a picture anywhere on
  19. your disk, read any text without worrying how to load  a  text  shower
  20. first,  look  into a lha archive by simply selecting that archive file
  21. etc.

  23. You can configure what Dir Menu should do on any type of file you will
  24. select.  You can also configure your favorite directories and files to
  25. appear on the first display (when you press a hotkey).

  27. Dir  Menu  will  recognize  almost every known type of files.  It uses
  28. WhatIs  library,  and  that  means  if  there  is any type of file not
  29. already  configured  you  can  configure a new type, and Dir Menu will
  30. remember it for ever!
