  3. This is disk 680 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  4. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  7. ATAP        Adobe Type Access Package allows users of Professional Page
  8.         (Gold Disk, inc.) and compatible applications to use typefaces
  9.         available from Adobe Systems or other vendors.  Includes AFM
  10.         and screen font converters, sample AFMs and screen fonts from
  11.         the Macintosh, and a Macintosh/USA1 keymap.  Includes source
  12.         in C for AFM converter and font unpacker.

  15. SatTrack    A satellite tracking program.  Allows for selection of a data-
  16.         base that can contain up to 300 satellites.  Tracks satellites
  17.         on a graphics display of the world.  All graphics are IFF com-
  18.         patible, allowing for loading of display to standard painting
  19.         program.  Allows for input of satellite information using
  20.         either standard data format or by simple user input.  All
  21.         operations use standard windows and menus.  SatTrack has a
  22.         simulation mode that allows for predictions in the future.
  23.         This is version 2.1A, demo copy, binary only.

  26. VirusChecker    A virus checker that can check memory, disk bootblocks, and
  27.         all disk files for signs of most known viruses.  Can remember
  28.         nonstandard bootblocks that you indicate are OK and not bother
  29.         you about them again.  Includes an ARexx port.  Version 6.06,
  30.         an update to version 6.05 on disk 669.  Binary only.

  39. Term        A gift-ware telecommunications program written for AmigaOS
  40.         release 2.x (Kickstart 37.175 and Workbench 37.67 or higher
  41.         required).  Features include total configurability, full
  42.         ARexx control, Xpr-transfer support, filetype-identification
  43.         after download, cut & paste/point-and-click on screen, auto
  44.         upload and download, scrollable review buffer of unlimited
  45.         size, solid and fully-featured VT100/VT220/ANSI emulation,
  46.         optional fast atomic terminal emulation, hotkey support,
  47.         powerful phonebook and dialing functions, ability to save and
  48.         print the contents of the screen as IFF-ILBM or ASCII file,
  49.         full overscan and screen resolution support (new ECS screen
  50.         modes included), asynchronous operation and a lot more.  Comes
  51.         with seven Xpr-transfer libraries (ascii, jmodem, kermit,
  52.         quickb, xmodem, ymodem & zmodem) and documentation both in
  53.         German and in English.  This is version 2.2a, an update to
  54.         version 1.9c on disk 589.  Includes full source in `C' and
  55.         assembly language.

  64. AmiBack        Demo version of Ami-Back v2.0, a nice backup utility for the
  65.         Amiga.  Features include backup to any AmigaDOS compatible
  66.         device (such as floppies, removable hard disks, fixed media
  67.         hard disk, and tape drives), compression, no copy protection,
  68.         configuration files, complete backups, incremental backups,
  69.         selective backups, file exclusion filter, setting of archive
  70.         bit, password protected backups, online help, AREXX support,
  71.         etc.  Demo version does not have restore.  Version 2.0a, an
  72.         update to version 1.04 on disk 517.  Binary only.

  75. CyberCron    A cron utility for AmigaDOS 2.0.  Uses the new, more flexible,
  76.         AmigaDOS 2.0 technique for running programs.  Offers an ex-
  77.         tended set of options that may be specified for any given
  78.         event.  Version 1.3, an update to version 1.2 on disk 656.
  79.         Includes source.

  82. ReqChange    A little program that patches the system requesters to use the
  83.         similar requesters in ReqTools.library.  It also patches the
  84.         ARP requester and all requesters in Req.library.  It is very
  85.         flexible, allowing you to modify where the requester should
  86.         appear, which of the libraries to patch, etc.  Includes a pair
  87.         of small utility programs, GetFile and ReqAsk, that can be
  88.         used in scripts to put up file requesters or other requesters.

  92. RexxHostLib    This is a shared library package to simplify the ARexx host
  93.         creation/management procedure.  Rexx-message parsing is also
  94.         included making it possible to control ARexx from programs
  95.         such as AmigaBASIC (can you imagine AmigaBASIC controlling
  96.         AmigaTeX?).  This is version 37.1, an update to version 36.14
  97.         on disk 403.  This version has been updated for use with Kick-
  98.         start 2.0. Includes source in `C' and assembly language.

  101. Zoom        A fast and efficient floppy disk archiving utility based
  102.         on the data compression / decompression algorithms used by
  103.         lh.library.  Has an Intuition and a Shell interface, fully
  104.         supports Kickstart 2.0, is able to add texts and notes to
  105.         archived output files, knows 274 different bootblock viruses,
  106.         includes a number of compression parameters (such as
  107.         encryption of the output file) and a lot more.  Version 5.4,
  108.         an update to version 4.1 on disk 459.  Binary only.

  117. GMC             A console handler with command line editing and function
  118.                 key support.  GMC provides extended command line editing,
  119.                 function key assignment in four levels, extended command
  120.                 line history, online help for functions in the handler,
  121.                 and an iconify function.  Also includes an output buffer
  122.                 (dump to printer and window), filename completer, script
  123.                 function, undo function, prompt beeper, pathname in window
  124.                 title, close gadget for KS 2.0, etc.  This is version 9.13,
  125.                 an update to version 9.11 on disk 587, with some new
  126.                 features and some bug fixes.  Shareware, binary only.

  129. KFAST        Key Frame Animator with Skeletal Technique.  A collection of
  130.         functions to implement a two-dimensional object based animator
  131.         designed to use the skeletal technique of modeling objects and
  132.         simple tweening to free the animator from the labors of pro-
  133.         ducing smooth transitions between key drawings.  A crude demo
  134.         program has been included utilizing the routines.  Version 0.5,
  135.         includes source.

  138. LE-NAG        LeverEdge NAG is a program to remind you of events before you
  139.         miss them.  Events can be scheduled to occur once or repeat
  140.         daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.  You can be alerted of the
  141.         event in a number of ways from a screen flash to a message
  142.         requester.  Version 92.05.02, shareware, binary only.

  145. PrintFiles    A freely redistributable print utility to replace the standard
  146.         workbench Printfiles command.  Supports Arexx, application
  147.         icon, and setting up a print list with unlimited number of
  148.         entries.  Requires OS 2.04.  Includes two versions, V0.91e
  149.         in English and V0.91d in German.  This is an update to V0.9
  150.         on disk 632.  Includes source.
