  1.      The  Morph  animation was create using the `Make mand morph' menu
  2. option of Mand2000.

  4.      The  Morph  animation  demonstrates the smooth changing of the
  5. fractal formula from:
  6.  
  7.      Z0 = C
  8.      Zn+1 = Zn * Zn - iterative formula for a circle
  9.  
  10.      to:
  11.  
  12.      Z0 = C
  13.      Zn+1 = Zn * Zn * c - iterative formula for the mandelbrot
  14. set.

  16.      To  re-create  this movie, run Mand2000 and choose an appropriate
  17. area of the Mandelbrot set.  Then select `Make mand morph'.  This will
  18. bring  up  the  morph movie requester.  The default movie that it will
  19. make  is  a ten frame morph from the Mandelbrot set (ratio equals 1.0)
  20. to  a circle (ratio equals 0.0).  The example morph shows a morph from
  21. a ratio of .3485 to a ratio of 1.0, of fifteen frames.  These settings
  22. can  be  easily  adjusted  in  the morph requester.  Then select `Make
  23. morph'  to  start  generation  of the movie.  If you bring up a status
  24. requester  while  the  movie  is  being  calculated  you will get full
  25. information on the progress of the movie calculation.

  27.      By   default   the   individual   frames   are   written  out  to
  28. RAM:MorphFramennnnn,  with  nnnnn  representing  the frame number plus
  29. 10000.   These frames can then be easily loaded into any anim creating
  30. program.   It  is  also  possible through the use of ARexx to have the
  31. frames  processed  into  an anim file and deleted as they are created.
  32. It  is  also possible, from the morph movie requester, to change where
  33. the frames are written to.

  35.      This is all much easier to do than it sounds, and Mand2000's full
  36. online  help  (select any menu item, press the help key) makes it even
  37. easier.

  42.      This  animation  may be freely distributed on a non-profit basis,
  43. as  long as this complete text file is distributed with it.  It may be
  44. used as long as full credit is given to Cygnus Software and Mand2000.

  46.      The  demo version of Mand2000 only allows saving of small images.
