  13. These are the GNU text file (actually, file contents) processing
  14. utilities.  Most of these programs have significant advantages over
  15. their Unix counterparts, such as greater speed, additional options,
  16. and fewer arbitrary limits.  The programs that can be built with this
  17. package are: cat, cksum, comm, csplit, cut, expand, fold, head, join,
  18. nl, od paste, pr, sort, split, sum, tac, tail, tr, unexpand, uniq, and
  19. wc.  The cmp program has moved to the GNU diff distribution.

  21. This archive contains the Amiga source and the diffs that were applied
  22. to the baseline FSF source distribution to generate the Amiga source.
