  3. This program is Shareware.
  4. This means that you can copy this program to anyone you like, but if you
  5.    find the program useful, you should register, as explained below. This
  6.    entitles you to the latest version of this program, and of all my other

  18. Purpose
  19. -------
  20. A program to enter commonly used words.
  21.

  23. To use
  24. ------
  25. Double click on the icon in the filer window to load the program. Click
  26. select on the icon on the icon bar to open the main window. Clicking on a
  27. word or phrase in the window will cause that word to be entered into the
  28. keyboard's buffer, with the exception of the exception of the two icons
  29. which start 'Inset current date'. These insert the current date in the
  30. format shown on the icon, either 24th July 1992 or July 24th 1992. As the
  31. text is entered into the keyboard's buffer, it will be as if you typed the
  32. phrase yourself. The word will appear in the program which has got control
  33. over the caret. Clicking menu (the middle mouse button) in the main window
  34. will open a menu allowing you to Add, edit or delete an entry.

  36.    Add    : A window will open with a writeable icon. Click in this icon and
  37.                type in the word or phrase you wish to appear in the list.
  38.                Press RETURN or click on the OK icon.
  39.    Edit   : A window will open allowing you to edit the phrase you clicked
  40.                the mouse button over. Edit the phrase as applicable and
  41.                press RETURN or click on the OK icon.
  42.    Delete : A window will open allowing you to delete the phrase you clicked
  43.                the mouse button over. Click on the OK icon to delete the
  44.                phrase, otherwise click on the Cancel icon.

  46. To load a new file, either double-click on a saved file in a filer window or
  47. drag one onto the icon on the icon bar. To start from scratch, select 'New
  48. file' from the icon-bar menu.
  49. The icon-bar menu also allows you to display the program information, to
  50. save the current word list, and to quit the application.

  61. To register, send £5 to me, at the address shown below, stating what version
  62. of which programs you have. You can enclose your own disk for the programs,
  63. and if you do so you can deduct 50p from the price. Registering entitles you
  64. to upgrade to later versions of the same programs and to get new programs
  65. for the price of £1. Any additional contributions from overseas towards
  66. postage would be greatly appreciated.
