  1.               Welcome to StrongED 4.20, the friendly editor

  4. In this distribution there should be two directories; !StrongED itself
  5. (the main program), and !StrED_cfg (where you can put your customisations)
  6.  
  7. Note that this version of StrongED has a completely changed internal
  8. directory structure, so you can't just drag it on top of an earlier
  9. version. Instead you should move the old copy to somewhere safe, and
  10. after installing the new copy, you can move any customised files from
  11. the old copy and into !StrED_cfg.

  13. Extract !StrongED to wherever you want it, and then !StrED_cfg to either
  14. the same directory, or to ADFS::$.!Boot.Choices if you're using RiscOS 3.50
  15. or later. Now you can run it.

  17. If you have !StrongHlp, you can get extensive help on !StrongED by
  18. clicking on 'info' in its iconbar menu. If you don't have !StrongHlp you
  19. can probably find it close to where you found !StrongED, or you can
  20. download it from my web page at http://login.eunet.no/~guttorvi/strong.html
