Persistence of Vision Raytracer BETA 0.5

DKBTrace/STAR-Light is now known as the Persistence of Vision Raytracer.
It's a great raytracing program that boasts well written and highly
portable C source code. The program runs on IBM-PC, Amiga,
Macintosh, Unix, Sun, mainframes and many other computers. The
latest version of the PV-Ray source code/program and any other
PV-Team code/programs will always be available on Compuserve's
COMART forum library 16.
To use PV-Ray you need to download the executables for your computer,
the dcumentation and the example dat files.
These files are available in Comart lib 2 and/or Lib 16.

PVIBM.ZIP -- IBM-PC 286 or above w/ math co-processor
PVIBNC.ZIP -- IBM-PC 286 or above no math co-processor

PVMAC.ZIP -- Apple Macintosh w/ math co-processor (available soon)

The C source is available as PVSRC.ZIP.
The PV-Team is a collection of volunteer programmers, designers,
animators and artists meeting via electronic mail on Compuserve's
COMART forum, section 16 Raytracing (COMART is also the home of the
very popular Fractint and its authors the Stone Soup Group.)
The PV-Team's goal is to create freely distributable, high
quality rendering and animation software written in C that can be
easily ported to many different computers.
Enhancements, bug fixes, artwork, suggestions for all PV
programs are all welcome. Feel free to contribute to the PV
programs and join in on development.
