  1. New Sprites

  4. This is not a replacement set of sprites for the WIMP environment, it will not make your desktop look like it's been designed by a fool who's obsessed with black-to-white fades. It does, however, install the new sprites contained in the NewSprs file into the wimp sprite area.

  6. Notes for use of sprites:

  9. The director icon is used to put on the icon bar, as it looks similar to the ROM Apps icon but with utils on it instead of apps, to be used with a command like "Filer_OpenDir ADFS::HardDisc4.$.Utilities"

  11. The CD Sprites are to replace Acorn's rather bad mode 22 sprites for the CD on the icon bar, if you've got a CD ROM drive.

  13. The other sprites are simply sprites similar to the oridginals, but have either been slightly altered or have been converted to Mode 22. You may or may not use the programs the sprites are for, I don't use all of them myself, but I've done the sprites anyway.

  15. You need a high Res monitor to use these sprites correctly.
