- Mickey Manual
-
- This utility is intended to be used mainly for Draw Programmes or as an aid
-
- to making Templates or altering existing ones, but it also can be useful in
-
- any Desktop operation when the position of the pointer requires to be
-
- established.
-
- When installed on the icon bar, clicking on the Mickey icon sets up two
-
- windows;
-
- Each shows the co-ords of the x and y axes separately on individual display
-
- panels, these can be 'parked' at any position on the screen to suit a
-
- particular layout.
-
- There are two modes of working ;
-
- 1) with a grid when only whole units are displayed
-
- 2) without a grid when the display is a little more
-
- accurate especially in the larger grid pitches.
-
-
- Once the choice has been made the display panels react 'live' to the Mouse
-
- movements taking the Origin to be at the normal bottom left hand corner of
-
- the screen.
-
- However the main feature of this system is the ability to resite the Origin
-
- simply by clicking the Adjust(Right Hand) button of the mouse at the spot
-
- required to be measured and the co-ords show a new zero at all of the display
-
- panels affected.
-
- When the mouse is moved to a new position the co-ords update the x and y
-
- co-ords and also show the "hypotenuse" dimension labelled "RADIAL" during
-
- the move until the required point/s have been reached (handy for circles).
-
- To reset the Origin for the screen just click the Select(Left Hand) Button
-
- anywhere on the screen.
-
- Other features include the quick selection of units Centimtres,Inches
-
- and OP.SYS units by clicking on the button icons provided. In between sizes
-
- can be obtained by clicking on the display panel shown as ">>"
-
- Increments are ;from 1 to 10 in 1's
-
- " 10 to 30 in 5's
-
- " 30 to 80 in 10's (80 gives centimtres)
-
- and " 80 to 180 in 20's (180 gives inches)
-
- Clicking above 180 returns the OS units to 1
-
- Use and enjoy!!!!
