⇨ !Mickey
⇨ By Ron Swinhoe © 1.03 (28-Dec-94).
⇨ Based on !Mousey by Dave Thomas © 1991,1992.
Purpose ___________________________________________________________________
!Mickey shows the OS Co-ords of the Mouse either in single units or to a
Grid which can be varied between centimetres, inches and OS units
by the user "on the top". It could be useful with say a Draw programme,
especially if the Mickey Grid is matched to the Draw Grid.
A useful feature is the ability to position the x and y indicator panels
SEPARATELY and INDEPENDENTLY anywhere on the screen
I find it particularly handy when sizing or resizing Template Windows or Icons.
Usage _____________________________________________________________________
After you have loaded !Mickey it's icon will appear on the icon bar.
Clicking over the icon bar icon will open it's windows.
Each window contains a display window showing X or Y OS Co-ords; the X panel
also the extra feature of a set of 'choice' icons to alter the measuring units.
There are 3 choices :- Inches; Centimetres and basic OS units.
The X panel includes a facility for setting the display either in values
to places of decimals (Grid Off) or changing to a Grid Lock system
of whole units (Grid On). [OS units are always 1's]
All of the above operations are performed in a Multi-Tasking manner.
A brief Guide window can popped-up by clicking on the little blue icon
on the x axis panel, this can be cleared using the standard 'back' or 'close'
icons ,it can be brought back at any time using the same icon .
I hope this works well ; its my first attempt at a Wimp Programme
