!Help file for !Fanfold

INTRODUCTION...
This program came about because one day I wanted to print out a large
manual which was stored in a plain text file. The easiest and cheapest way
was to print it out on a dot matrix using fanfold paper (the stuff thats in
one long strip with perforations between the pages).
No matter how much I tried, I couldn't find a program that would print out
the file while automatically leaving spaces so that text doesn't get printed
over the perforations. A friends Amiga and PC couldn't manage it either. So
I wrote this application.
USING...
Load in the usual way and drop a text file onto the icon.
Make sure that the printer is the attached to the parallel printer port
(note: you don't need a copy of !Printers) and on-line.
SETTING UP...
Bring up the iconbar menu and choose 'Setup...'
Set the number of lines of text that you want on each page by clicking on
the bump icons. Set the number of lines for the margins in the same way. Eg:
if you set the margins to 3, then 3 blank lines will be printed above and
below the text on each page.
The standard sized paper (or at least the stuff I've got) is 66 lines per
page. So the setting that I prefer is 60 lines per page with margins set to
3 (these are the default settings).
Click on 'OK' to close the window and accept the settings.
NOTE...
When printing, there is currently no way of aborting the operation. You
will have to either wait until all the text file has been printed, or reset
the machine. I am currently working on this problem.
