-
!B_Remove - Description

-
-
This package (Boot-Suite) can only be effectively used on a hard-disk
- system. Once successfully instally the entire package requires less than 500k
- of hard-disk space. This utility (!B_REMOVE) is intended to completely remove
- the package, if you don't like it or things have just gone wrong.
-
-

The format of this program is virtualy identical to the instaltion
- program, just follow the prompts and Boot-Suite will disappear for ever.
-
-
-
There were three instalation methods:-
-
-
1) Install to RISC OS 3.1, building an entire !boot program.
-
2) Install to a RISC-PC, merging with acorns !Boot.
-
3) Manually install boot-suite, using the applications as you see fit.
-
-
Note: The RISC-PC version has a number of extra options that are not
- available on the RISC OS 3.1 version.
-
-

In addition there are two options that you may select before begining
- removal, that may be usefull when upgrading boot-suite, or when wishing to
- only complete a part instaltion:-
-
-
1) Remove 'Choices' directory - The boot files you have written.
-
2) Remove 'System' directory - The data files that contain your individual
- systems needs.
-
-

It is important to realise that the remove program will not affect any
- files on your hard-disk, except the files called !Boot, !BootInfo, & !BootOpt
- in the directory that you select. With the Risc OS 3.1, option these files
- should be contained within the root direcrory. With the RISC-PC version files
- will all be held in a directory called Bootsuite within acorns !Boot
- application. The files in this directory are organised in a simialr way to the
- Risc OS 3.1 version.
