  9.     that change the way !All affects any files
  10.     dragged onto its icon.

  12. Functions :

  14.   Trash  
  15.   -----  
  16. Simply deletes any file dragged to it.
  17.  
  18.   Protect
  19.   -------  
  20. Locks the file against deletion, including !All's 
  21. trash function.
  22.  
  23.   UnProtect
  24.   ---------  
  25. Does the opposite.
  26.  
  27.   File info
  28.   ---------  
  29. If you have a file, but can't remember what the
  30. filetype number stands for, !All will tell you
  31. which application the file comes from. (Or try to)
  32. which means you don't have to trawl through the 
  33. harddisk until you find an application that can
  34. recognise it. Can currently identify an amazing (?)
  35. 138 different file types. The application directory 
  36. contains a spritefile with loads of filetype icons
  37. which you can iconsprite in order to achieve the same
  38. effect. However it does use up quite a lot of memory
  39. to do this.  (85k of module space, approx)  
  40.  
  41.   Dos map
  42.   -------  
  43. By looking at the extension of a DOS file (eg JPG),
  44. !All will change the file's filetype from DOS to
  45. the correct type (eg &C91) and also rename the file
  46. to something more readable. So DWARF/JPG would 
  47. become Dwarf with filetype JPEG. Will just lower
  48. the case of any file dragged to it without the '/'
  49. extension.      
  50.  
  51.   Toolsprite
  52.   ----------
  53. Drag a sprite file of new desktop tools to the !All 
  54. icon and it will *Toolsprite it.
  55.  
  56.   IconSprite
  57.   ----------
  58. As above, with *IconSprite.
  59.  
  60.   Opener
  61.   ------
  62. Any Application directory dragged to !All will be
  63. opened as if it had been Shift-Selected.
  64.  
  65.   Backdrop
  66.   --------
  67. Drag a sprite to !All and it will be tiled on the
  68. (Risc OS 3.1 only) backdrop. This can be useful to 
  69. test out a variety of different backdrops quickly.

  71.   DateStamp
  72.   ---------
  73. Click on this icon and the current time will be
  74. shown in the text icon above. Additionally,
  75. any files dragged to !All will be datestamped with 
  76. the current date and time. 
  77.  
  78.     Future improvements :
  79. More functions could be added, I suppose, such as
  80. Ctrl-Shift opening of directories, ADFS 0 dismounting,
  81. more extensive filetype guessing and anything else
  82. I can think of.
