  1. !Send7+ is a utility for !TCPIP users who wish to send 7+ files
  2. out into the blue as mail.

  4. What does !Send7+ do ?
  5. 1. It reads some system variables to get the paths right to !BM,
  6.    !MailDir and !7+_Work. It also reads your call sign from
  7.    <Call$Sign> and hostname from <Host$Name>. So you'll have to
  8.    set these system variables in your !TCPIP's !Boot file, as
  9.    they have to be set even when !TCPIP is NOT running. You
  10.    should set up a !Boot file for your computer which opens the
  11.    directories which contain !TCPIP, !BM and !7+.

  13. 2. Now it will ask you for the filename to send. It then looks up
  14.    how many parts the file has got and if they all exist.
  15.  
  16. 3. Now you will be asked for call sign@PBBS or ALIAS to send to.
  17.    !send7+ will then look up for you if your entry was an alias
  18.    searching !BM's alias file to get the mail address right.
  19.    It recognises entries with a '@' in it as non-alias entries.

  21. 4. Now !Send7+ generates the appropriate headers for message file
  22.    and work file and spools each part of the 7+ file into an separate
  23.    file.

  25. So now your 7+ archive file is ready for transmission by !TCPIP which
  26. will be done at the next turnover of the smtp timer.
