Judging from the mail that I and others have been getting, there is some
confusion about what FreeNet is and how it can be used, so this is an
attempt to clarify things somewhat.

FreeNet is a transport agent, nothing more. In order to do anything
useful with you need client programs. At the moment these include the
FreeTerm terminal emulator and ArcWeb using the ArcWebTCP fetcher.

One thing you can't do is to use both KA9Q and FreeNet at the same
time. Even using the KA9QAUNLink driver (or a blockdriver pipe) to
link the two together won't work, as you would need two IP addresses,
one for KA9Q and one for FreeNet.

Finally, several people have been unsure how to actually connect
FreeNet to the net. The answer is that once you have set up the
configuration files in !FreeUser, you should alter your SLIPdial
script to run !FreeUser.Startup when it has connected, instead of
running !TCPIP.
