  25. Yes folks, it's here at last... FreeNet has made it to release.

  27. For those who don't know already, FreeNet is a freeware replacement for
  28. Acorn's TCP/IP stack, which provides a BSD sockets interface for
  29. programmers, and uses existing DCI-2 hardware drivers, so it should work
  30. with current ethernet cards, as well as with SLIP using the supplied
  31. driver.

  33. I have just finished uploading it to the incoming directory on the Demon
  34. ftp site, so it should be appearing at the following location shortly:
