OCR: Here is an example of a cube which has a length of 4 on each side. There are: 13 =1, 4 by 4 by 4 cube. 23 =8, 3 by 3 by 3 cubes 33 =27, 2 by 2 by 2 cubes. 43 =64, 1 by 1 by 1 cubes. Add the answers up and you get 1+8+27+64=100 cubes. The equation for this problem is: X Xx3 n=1 Where x is the length of one side.
