  3. As I had had Sally staying, this weekend, I was late getting to the reserve,
  4. but I took a few photos of the new ride and the TWIG field. I also planted a
  5. holly and a yew tree in the new clearing, and piled lots of brash around
  6. them to protect them.

  8. The hazel trees planted on the hazel slope, had been kicked about, and I
  9. couldn't relocate one of them.

  11. The sunny day had brought out a lot of singing birds, including Great Tits.
