  1. How to De install !HardApps
  2. =-------------------------=

  4. De installing !Hardapps is very easy. Just follow the below steps:
  5.  
  6. 1) Load up your !Boot file.
  7.  
  8. 2) Remove any reference to !HardBoot in it including the lines which should
  9. read something like the following:
  10.  
  11. Set Temp$Dir <Obey$Dir>
  12. Run IDEFS::4.$.!System.ROMApps.!HardApps
  13. Set Obey$Dir <Temp$Dir>
  14.  
  15. 3) Go into your ROMApps directory, and remove any  applications from it that
  16. you want to, apart from !HardApps.
  17.  
  18. 4) Delete the 'Path' file inside the !HardApps directory.
  19.  
  20. 5) Move the !HardApps application out of the ROMApps diectory and put it into
  21. your applications directory or any other place where you may case to put it
  22. incase you want it later.
  23.  
  24. 6) Delete the ROMApps directory if required.
  25.  
  26. This will leave you with a copy of !HardApps which when run will ask you to
  27. Install it, just like it did the first time you ran it.
  28.  
  29. Note that all the Applications will still appear to be in the ResourecFS
  30. however, they aren't actually and when run, they will produce an error.
