Version 0.96, BETA TEST
-------------------------------------------
\\\\\\\If the program won't run try allocating a higher amount of memory to the NEXT slot
of your machine/////////////////
This program is to help those of you who spend alot of time typing on your Acorn.
It lets you enter your most common phrases into its buffers, and by clicking on the
revelant icon {which represents a buffer} the text stored is WIMP transfered to the caret.
That basically means that if you were to type in 'Monty Pythons Flying circus' in one buffer,
'Red Dwarf' in another, and 'oops, I shot the postman' in another you could just click in
an impression or edit window and then click on a Trans icon buffer and yeh presto the chosen
phrase 'Monty Python' or 'shot postman' would appear instantly in the impression/edit window
from the caret.
Phew.
Use:
CLICK MENU over an icon to reveal the entry box. Type your phrase in- it can be looooooooooong or
srt. Once you've done this, clicking SELECT on the icon will send the phrase to the caret
holding program. Simple really.
The little writable icon at the foot of the box allows you to test your phrase before bunging
it into impression et al. Just click in it to give it the caret.
If the program BEEPS at you, you haven't entered any text into the buffer you are trying to
send....
Compatibility and Trouble? Oh well.
I'm sorry to say RISC-OS 2 users will probably experience more crashes than a ZX-81 trying to
control a thermo-nuclear EM reaction.
Happy to say RISC-PC compatible, as it was written on one.
RISC-OS 3.10 compatible
1 MEG friendly, sort of.
nice help file!
Since this is really a BETA TEST send any comments and bug reports(!!!!?) about the program to
