  1. !FontMsgs licence agreement
  2.  
  3.  1. You may copy and distribute verbatim copies of !FontMsgs as you receive
  4. it, in any medium, provided that you keep intact the notices on all files
  5. that refer to copyrights, to this Licence Agreement, and to the absence of
  6. any warranty; and give any other recipients of !FontMsgs a copy of this
  7. Licence Agreement along with the program.
  8.  
  9.  2. You may modify your copy or copies of !FontMsgs or any portion of it,
  10. and copy and distribute such modifications under the terms of Paragraph 1
  11. above (including distributing this Licence Agreement), provided that you
  12. also do the following:
  13.  
  14.  a) cause the modified files to carry prominent notices stating that you
  15.     changed the files and the date of any change; and
  16.  
  17.  b) cause the whole of any work that you distribute or publish, that in
  18.     whole or in part contains or is a derivative of !FontMsgs or any part
  19.     thereof, to be licenced at no charge to all third parties on terms
  20.     identical to those contained in this Licence Agreement (except that you
  21.     may choose to grant more extensive warranty protection to some or all
  22.     third parties, at your option).

  24.  c) You may charge a distribution fee for the physical act of transferring a
  25.     copy, and you may at your option offer warranty protection in exchange
  26.     for a fee. (Extended warranty protection is only applicable if the
  27.     program code has been modified in any way.)
  28.  
  29.  3. You may copy and distribute !FontMsgs (or a portion or derivative of it,
  30. under Paragraph 2) in executable form under the terms of Paragraphs 1 and 2
  31. above. If the main program is rewritten in a compiled language, then you
  32. must also do one of the following:
  33.  
  34.  a) accompany it with the complete machine-readable source code, which must
  35.     be distributed under the terms of Paragraphs 1 and 2 above; or,
  36.  
  37.  b) accompany it with full information as to how to obtain the complete
  38.     machine-readable source code from an appropriate archive site. (This
  39.     alternative is allowed only for noncommercial distribution.)
  40.  
  41. For these purposes, complete source code means either the full source
  42. distribution as originally released to GemPD or updated copies of the files
  43. in this distribution used to create the object code or executable.
  44.  
  45.  4. You may not copy, sublicence, distribute or transfer !FontMsgs except as
  46. expressly provided under this Licence Agreement. Any attempt otherwise to
  47. copy, sublicence, distribute or transfer !FontMsgs is void and your rights to
  48. use the program under this Licence agreement shall be automatically
  49. terminated. However, parties who have received computer software programs
  50. from you with this Licence Agreement will not have their licences terminated
  51. so long as such parties remain in full compliance.

  54. Stated plainly: You are prohibited by the terms of this Licence Agreement
  55. from using !FontMsgs for gainful purposes. You are permitted to modify
  56. !FontMsgs, or otherwise use parts of !FontMsgs, provided that you comply
  57. with the conditions specified above; in particular, your modified !FontMsgs
  58. or program containing parts of !FontMsgs must remain freely available as
  59. provided in this Licence Agreement. In other words, go ahead and share
  60. !FontMsgs, but don't try to stop anyone else from sharing it further.
  61.
