  1. !Help file for Serial Driver Manager by Chris Davis

  4. Serial Driver Manager is designed to help you keep you Serial Device Driver
  5. directory (!SerialDev) up to date. It is intended as a sort of 'System Merge'
  6. program (except for Serial Driver's!!).
  7.  
  8. To load SDM just double click on the icon. Dragging either your !SerialDev
  9. directory onto the icon or onto the summary window will scan for serial
  10. drivers. Selecting 'Rescan' will rescan this directory.
  11.  
  12. Dragging a directory onto the icon or summary window will update the driver
  13. with the name of the directory with the files in it. If no driver by that
  14. name exists then it is added from the directory.
  15.  
  16. Dragging a data file named 'Driver' onto the details window will update the
  17. driver file for the currently viewed driver.
  18.  
  19. Problems/Bugs

  22. Dragging a directory onto the icon or summary window DOESN'T update the
  23. driver!! (yet!)
