  50. Acquiring the package:
  51.  
  52. Download the zip archive file(s) and extract using SparkPlug 2
  53. (see the "tools_help" file in micros/arch/riscos/tools for further info).
  54. Note that the files are (unusually for HENSA) stored as ZIP archives
  55. which means that they cannot be read by ArcFS.  The latest version
  56. of SparkPlug is required (or SparkFS which is commercial software).

  58. Installation:
  59.  
  60. First you unpack DVIview, TeXBase1, TeXBase2, TeXFnts1, TeXFnts2,
  61. TeXFnts3, TeXFnts4 and TeXFnts5 into the same directory. This is a
  62. fairly minimal working setup.  Next, if you want DaTeX, unpack that
  63. into the same directory.  This is a WIMP front end for TeX, SliTeX,
  64. LaTeX and DVIview which some people like.  Next, if you want LaTeX2e,
  65. unpack that into the same directory.  LGrind , BibTex, TeXExtr1 and
  66. TeXExtr2 and the LaTeX source are for more knowledgable users.

  71. TeX is a professional typesetting program used especially for
  72. typesetting technical or mathematical material.  LaTeX is a set of
  73. macros for TeX that drastically reduce the work required to produce
  74. high quality documents.  This package contains an easy-to-install
  75. version of TeX; you can start with a minimal setup and add features
  76. as required.
