  5. Beta Release Notes.

  7. This release of MOC is a beta release and, although it has been 
  8. extensively tested, there may still be some bugs. It would probably be 
  9. best not to bet your life or professional reputation on it yet! It is, 
  10. however, fully implemented as described in the documentation.

  14. Full installation instructions are in the enclosed MOC.TXT file.

  16. Bug Reports and Suggestions.

  18. I would greatly appreciate any bug reports or suggestions for 
  19. improvements via CompuServe. Please be as specific as possible.

  21. The example schedule enclosed is a bit basic and unimaginative. If 
  22. anyone can produce a better one, I will be happy to include it in the 
  23. release package - wit and humour will be the criterion!
  24.  
  25. I will be happy to give free licences and upgrades to anyone who 
  26. contributes significantly in one of the above ways.

  30. One or two basic facilities are still required:

  32. - Merge a schedule into another.
  33. - Print a schedule.
  34. - Export and import to text file.
  35. - Save start time and sound options in file.

  37. One more advanced enhancement I would like to make is a logging 
  38. option. This would make a new schedule during a schedule run. The new 
  39. schedule would be the same as the old except that the stored slot 
  40. durations would be the actuals from the run. This would enable a "tune 
  41. by experience" approach.
