  80. If you plan to develop and to distribute own stacks, you need to distribute
  81. the HyperPoc runtime system as well. You have to register for the 
  82. commercial version, to be entitled to distribute the HyperPoc runtime system.

  114. Program Description
  115. -------------------

  117. HyperPoc is a card oriented hypertext and hypermedia system.
  118.  
  119. Cards are organised in stacks (files).
  120. Cards may be superimposed with backgrounds.
  121.  
  122. Cards and backgrounds can contain a variety of objects, such as:
  123.   application, bitmap (animated), card link, clock, explainer, hotTab, icon (animated),
  124.   keyword, music, phone number, polyline, rectangle, text.
  125.  
  126. Functions include:
  127.   Invocation of Series 3 applications, several navigation functions, phone dialling, 
  128.   alarms, stopwatch.

  130. Comes with over 30 icons and 20 tunes.

  136. Storing a network of informations. Multimedia documents.

  138. Suggestion for those who have megabytes of WORD-documents in their pockets: 
  139. Create a card with a short description and keywords for each document and place a button for 
  140. the document onto the card. Use the HyperPoc to find a document, press the button 
  141. and your document shows up.

  143. Use HyperPoc as a database, e.g. for addresses. You may include graphics, link an address to 
  144. another (e.g. a person to a company), display a clock with a time shift beside a phone number 
  145. for overseas addresses (you don't want to call them at 3am !), link a word processor document 
  146. to an address for a dossier of your last meeting, link an alarm clock to a person for her/his
  147. birthday, and so on.

  153. The total amount of disk space necessary for a full installation
  154. is approximately 150k.

  156. When active, the system requires >23k of memory, depending on the size of bitmaps used.
  157. MORPHEUS requires constantly 10k of memory.

  159. We recommend to install system, manual, icons and tunes on flash SSD.

  165. This program runs on PSION S3 and S3a and on Acorn PowerBook I & II 
  166. in native mode.
  167. On Acorn PowerBook I an extra OPL translator is needed to make use
  168. of the HyperPoc OPL programming interface.

  174. 1. Text editing has been improved, using faster routines
  175.    and a flashing cursor.

  195.    look into non cursor areas.
