HOME V1.2a - README
------------------
This file is for users of V1.1 who wish to upgrade to V1.2. New
users should use the full instructions.
To upgrade from V1.1, replace the old HOME.APP file with the
new HOME2.APP, then uninstall V1.1 <PSION-/> and reinstall V1.2 <PSION-V>.
The icon should now have a ROOMS and an INSURE file underneath. Highlight
the ROOMS file and press <Enter>. The files will be converted, and
subsequently the INSURE file will disappear.
The following enhancements have been added.
1. Multiple Houses are now supported, with all the appropriate File Commands.
2. Each House can have a 20-Character Title
3. The Description Field has been extended to 25 Characters and the
Serial No field extended to 20 Characters. This is so as not to
penalise those who use the smaller font. If you use the larger font
AND the full numbers of characters you will probably experience overwriting.
In this case I leave it to you to self-limit the length.
4. Pressing the first letter of a Room or Category will now take you
straight to it.
5. An extra option has been added, to allow for an update of the
value of all items by a certain percentage, to allow for inflation.
If you do not wish an Item to be updated, it can be 'flagged' as
'Purchase Price Only'. Note that Items previously entered in V1.1
will default to 'New for Old'.
6. Each Item now has a 'Purchase Date' added to it. Items entered in
V1.1 will be given the date the first time V1.2 is used.
7. Rather than just showing Items by Room, you can now, in addition,
show them by category. The screen display will depend on where you
select the Item screen from.
8. A Print function has been added, to give you a hard copy of the
Item listing. It is very flexible, in that you can print all items,
or just those matching a certain room or category.
9. A Password function has been implemented.
Hope you like the improvements
Cheers
