18/05/90 0.01 I've just started to create !O_X_O. Error handling and
main polling loop is created.
19/05/90 0.01 Open's window, installs icon the the iconbar and multi-
tasks until you press {Ctrl-Alt-Delete}.
20/05/90 0.01 Now draw's board when the window is open, a small
(☓ Quit) menu is created.
21/05/90 0.02 Just worked out how to draw the 'O' and the 'X' in the
window. Rest of menu created. Computer thinking added
and the game is now working fully except the window
MUST be in the bottom-left hand corner of the screen.
23/05/90 0.03 After about 15 hours of stearing at the game I've just
worked out why the window had to be in the botton-left
hand corner of the screen. Problem solved and scroll
bars put on the main window. Now working on two
player mode.
24/05/90 0.05 On the third stroke the time will be 01:34:17 (beep,
beep, beeeeep). I've been sitting here trying to work
out how to make !O_X_O play two players. The menu
works and set's the 'turn%' and the 'computer%' flags
properly. Everything works except when on two players
the computer still acts as a third player!. I'll find
the problem, eventualy (this probably means a major
re-write!, though that's ok. I've got nothing to do
all day anyway!). - HOOOORAY! Full Two-player games
are now working (WITHOUT THE RE-WRITE!) with only ONE
problem. If the game is a draw you must select new
game from the menu to start a new game.
25/05/90 0.07 At 02:24:20 i'm about to do a computer + computer
verison. (02:41:50) Just decided that it's a lost
cause. I GIVE UP!. Gone back to last version.
25/05/90 1.00 Just entered release version 1.00! (03:38:16). No
problems except the '** Draw **' feature in two
player modes.
Extended thinking (to stop the computer from doing the
same actions every game) has just been added to 1.00.
