  4. Should have the following files. Copy the files into their relevent
  5. directorys (shown below).

  7. !RunImage               - !NewsFlash.!RunImage
  8. Templates               - !NewsFlash.Templates
  9. NewsFlash               - !NewsFlash.Modules.NewsFlash
  10. ArcBBSEm                - !NewsFlash.Modules.ArcBBSEm

  12. You should also have the following scripts:

  14. MessBase                - Example message base library script.
  15. Messages                - Example message base menu.
  16. Gloop                   - (Example?) Game
  17.  
  18. The 'MessBase' library contains the following SUB's:
  19.  
  20. SCANPRIVATEMAIL         - Scan for all mail addressed to user
  21. NEWMAREA                - Allow the user to change message area
  22. SHOWMESSAGE             - Will display the message 'messagenum%'
  23. VIEWMAIL                - Will let the user read (and reply to)
  24.                           mail in the current message area.
  25. QUICKSCAN               - Produce a list of messages in the
  26.                           current area (note: the user may see
  27.                           private mail not address to him/her).

  29. The gloop game is just to demonstrate the sheer power (??) of NewsFlash's
  30. script language. Simply RUN the gloop script to play the game. It is
  31. controlled by Z and /. Escape quits.

  33. You will need to re-compile your scripts (with the compiler provided) in
  34. order for them to be compatible with this upgrade. You will also need to
  35. change all READAREA commands to READFAREA commands in your existing scripts,
  36. otherwise the compiler will generate an error.

  41. This software is shareware. You may use it for a two week trial period. After
  42. this time you must register or delete the software.
