- Wotsis? "!Prescribe", A Public Domain Program
-
- WotsItDo? Converts path objects in a draw file
- into PreScribe-II commands.
-
- HowDyaDoDat? Drop a DRAW file onto the iconbar icon
- and drag the resulting text file to
- a directory filer.
-
- The "Remove File" menu option discards
- the current drawing and releases the
- memory.
-
- WotsUpWivIt? I havn't yet worked out how to load and
- save files between applications, so
- you have to load and save with real
- files.
-
- It doesn't yet do dashed lines or
- unusual end caps or joins.
-
- Also, it hasn't been fully tested as
- regards all possible permutations of
- path parameters.
-
- A restriction in PreScribe-II itself
- is that only closed paths can be
- filled, so the program closes any paths
- that need to be filled.
-
- WhyBother? Good question. Is there the faintest
- possibility that someone out there in
- PD land has a good use for it? If so
- I'd be interested to know about it.
-
- Tweaks? Startup and closedown commands are
- held in the "Preamble" and "Postamble".
- If your system requires different start
- and end commands, then you can edit
- these files.
-
- WhoDunnit? Mike Williams, who can always be
- contacted at 111 Evering Road
- London N16 7SL, to discuss possible
- further development of the program,
- existing bugs, and the possibility
- of swapping collections of PD software.
