  6.  Purpose ___________________________________________________________________
  7.  
  8.  Some windows don't have all the gadgets round their borders, or some of the
  9. gadgets are not there. This program attempts to emulate the gadgets of the
  10. Wimp so you can move windows without title bars, scroll un-scollable windows
  11. etc. You can even re-size or scroll menus!

  13.  Usage _____________________________________________________________________

  15.  After you have loaded !WinCtrl it's icon will appear on the icon bar.
  16. Clicking upon this icon will bring up the main !WinCtrl window. From this
  17. window you can select which type of operation you wish !WinCtrl to perform.

  19. ⇨ Whole window drag - means emulate the title bar.
  20. ⇨ Resize window     - means emulate the resize gadget.
  21. ⇨ Horizontal scroll - means emulate the bottom scroll bar.
  22. ⇨ Vertical scroll   - means emulate the side scroll bar.

  24.  To perform an operation, click and hold Select or Adjust inside the window
  25. and tap the right-hand Ctrl key. The operation will perform as if you were
  26. using a Wimp gadget (except it's invisible). I have re-phrased this since
  27. the last version in which I said to hold down the Ctrl key, because if you
  28. hold it down and pass over another window while performing an operation, the
  29. program forgets the window it was previously over and starts operating on
  30. the one it is over.
  31.  Please note that dragging the Task Manager and Palette windows with the
  32. pointer over the moveable slider bars will cause the slider bars to become
  33. erroneously attatched to the pointer and slide about even when they aren't
  34. being dragged. It's best to try and avoid doing this! (To stop it just click
  35. normally on the icon again).

  37.  Problems __________________________________________________________________

  39. ⇨ Some apps give address exceptions when you try to resize some of their
  40.  windows. This unfortunately sometimes crashes !WinCtrl, I don't know what's
  41.  causing it and there's nothing I can do about it, sorry! (Maybe someone
  42.  could figure out what's going wrong - if you can contact me and I'll fix
  43.  it.)
