These additions were designed for Risc OS 3.1. They should work with Risc OS 3.0, but there are known bugs with 3.0 (such as misaligned pinboard which causes backdrops to look silly, and window tools being defined via *IconSprites causing tool sets to become mixed!)
Backdrops
---------
A set of silly backdrops for Pinboard. Even if you don't like any of them, it may inspire you to create your own. All these backdrops are for tiling, of course!
Window Tools
------------
On Risc OS 2 the window icons were text and couldn't really be redefined. With the advent of Risc OS 3 these have changed to sprites (as you know!) Here we present two sets of new sprites you may like to try out. The '3dTools' file contains (almost) the full implementation of 3d icons for normal and multisync modes. Mode 23 and Mode 0 sprites have NOT been included (the file would be stupidly large!) The omission from this set of sprites is for a 'pushed title bar' (ptbarmidb) sprite. I think this looks daft, so I removed it. You can put it back if you want... if you like gooey title bars!
Notes
-----
I'm a programmer, not an artist, therefore there's not much artistic flare to these icons, and as Acorn are comissioning a 'proper' set of 3d icons, you'll probably use those!
The window tools can be installed by using *ToolSprites <filename> on Risc OS 3.1 or *IconSprites <filename> on Risc OS 3.0
Why not copy your favoutite backdrop into your boot file. Use *Backdrop -t <filename>
